Can I buy tickets on the door?
If a performance has availability, you will be able to purchase tickets at the venue. Tickets will be sold at the advertised face value and can be bought with cash or credit or debit card.
What happens if I buy tickets online?
If you purchase your ticket on this website you will be issued with an email confirmation at the time of booking which is your ticket. Tickets will not be dispatched. Please have your e-ticket on your mobile device or printed for inspection upon arrival.
When purchasing your ticket, you will be able to choose an entry time, and this will be written in your email confirmation and your e-ticket.
What if I can't print my e-ticket?
If you are unable to print your e-ticket you will be able to gain entry through showing your confirmation email.
How long is the performance?
The Generation of Z: Apocalypse has a running time of 75 minutes.
What are the show times and dates?

If I am 10 minutes late - is that ok?
There are strictly no late admissions. We will endeavour to accommodate you in the next showing.
Can I take photos?
We do not allow the use of cameras, video cameras or any other electronic equipment that can be used to capture images or footage of the performance.
Will I have to run during the show?
We strongly advise that to survive the apocalypse and keep each other safe that you DO NOT RUN. If you do so it is at your own risk.
What do I wear?
Dress appropriately for standing and walking…and remember that in the apocalypse, things can get messy. Leave your best threads and heels at home. There may be blood splattered.
Can I bring a weapon?
We appreciate your willingness to assist us in the fight for survival against the apocalypse, but weapons are STRICTLY prohibited. You may be searched and if found to be carrying a weapon will be immediately ejected from the performance.
Can I check my bag and coat in somewhere?
There is no cloak room. You are advised to bring as little as possible with you. Due to the nature of the show you will have to carry/hold this throughout the 75min performance.
AGE AND SUITABILITY
How old do I need to be to book tickets?
The recommended age is 16+. The Generation of Z: Apocalypse contains moments of extreme shock and tension, blood and gore, gun fire and explosions. Contains multiple use of strong language. It is entirely at your discretion as to whether you bring young people below the recommended age guidance and with the knowledge of the above disclaimer, but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Will I be able to leave the performance at any point?
Instructions will be given at the introduction before each performance, should you require assistance or need to leave during the event.

Where is DEPT W?
Dept W is located at 69-89 Mile End Rd, London, E1 4TT.
It’s a short walk from Whitechapel, Shoreditch and Stepney Green stations
There is no parking available. We are in a residential area and ask for consideration when in the locality of the venue.
EATING AND DRINKING
Are there bars and restaurants on-site?
Yes, we are partnered with Foxcroft & Ginger who are located right next door to the venue. Pop in before or after the show for a drink and a bite to eat.
ACCESS AND MEDICAL CONSIDERATIONS
What if I have sensitive hearing or a heart condition?
While the decibel levels in the show are safe for all our audiences, cast and crew, if you are sensitive to loud noises we recommend you bring a set of earplugs.
Any visitors whom suffer from claustrophobia, nyctophobia or have heart conditions should email us prior to booking at [email protected]
What if I am pregnant?
You are carrying the next generation and the hope for the human race’s survival after the apocalypse, so we consider you precious. Whilst we endeavour to keep our audiences as safe as possible, there is darkness, twists and turns and groups of people moving in and out of spaces swiftly. We ask that you do not attend the show if you are pregnant.
Do you have disability access?
We are afraid that we do not have any disabled access at Dept W, as there are stairs upon entry.
If you are on crutches / in a moonboot / in a cast / in a sling, it is entirely at your own risk if you choose to attend the show.
